Delivery

Linkam equipment is built to order hence our delivery times vary between 4 and 12 weeks depending on the system.  If we are building you a completely custom system we will have contacted you with an approximate lead time.

As a guideline, Hotstage and cyrosystems, such as Examina, Analysa, TS1500 and Freeze drying are generally delivered 8 weeks from receipt of order.

Motorized systems such as the Optical Rheology System, Geology Pro, and Tensile System are delivered 12 weeks from receipt of order.

Warm stages and peltier systems are delivered 4 to 6 weeks from receipt of order.

Delivery is charged separately.  Our preferred courier is Federal Express.  If you want to use your own preferred courier to ship your equipment we will charge a 25.00 GBP administration fee.

Insurance

We can arrange for equipment to be insured at a cost of 1% the total value of the equipment, but it is up to the customer to let us know prior to shipping.

Payment

Our preferred method of payment is telegraphic transfer or cheque or credit card through PayPal (additional 2.5% charge).  Payment is in advance of shipping unless you are a Linkam Account holder.  Account holders can make payment 30 days after dispatch of equipment unless arranged with us otherwise.  Setting up an account is subject to bank references.  Please contact us for more information..

We accept payment by Letter Of Credit and Cash Against Documents, however there is an administration charge associated with this.

Due to fluctuations in the exchange rate between quoting and dispatch, we cannot quote in any other currency than Pounds Sterling GBP.  We will accept payment in other currencies but there will be an administrative charge associated with this and it must be the equivalent exchange rate at time of dispatch, and not time of quote.

Taxes

The customer is responsible for paying local import duty and sales tax.  Our prices are quoted excluding VAT (value added tax)
