Last week Gilles Vaillant, from Linkam’s French distributor Microvision Instruments, attended MesurExpoVision. The exhibition took place in Paris, at Porte de Versailles, named after Versailles, the famous location of Louis XIV’s opulent, sprawling Palace.
MesurExpoVision is the largest international exhibition for products and services related to measurement, instrumentation and vision, so we were delighted to see that Gilles had brought a Linkam FDCS196 stage to the show.
This freeze drying cryo stage has many exciting features: it can be used to cool samples down to -196°C so that they can be observed using light microscopy techniques such as phase contrast and polarized light. The collapse and eutectic temperatures can be accurately determined and freeze dried structure of complex samples investigated.
Our partner Microvision Instruments is headquartered at Evry, 30 km south of Paris, near Orly airport.
