PE-BX120 Peltier Heating and Freezing Stage

Benefits and Features

The PE-BX120 stage is a simple to use thermoelectrically cooled stage that accurately controls the temperature of microscope slides to +/-0.1C from -25 to 120°C.

The stage is built into the XY table of the BX range of Olympus microscopes so that the high resolution U-CD8 condenser with 0.9NA top lens can be used. When coupled with a high resolution Plan Apochromat objective lens, this system provides the best optical performance temperature control stage available in it's class.

  • Sample area 35 x 32mm
  • 5mm aperture
  • 10mm X manipulation Y manipulation limited by microscope slide length (76mm)
  • Heating/Cooling rate 0.1 to 20°C/min
  • Temperature Range -25°C to 120°C
  • Control and Stability +/- 0.1°C
  • Pt100 temperature sensor
