Analysa Probe System
Features and Benefits
This system is based upon the well known LTS350 heating and freezing stage, with similar temperature control and range, the dynamic heating and cooling performance ensures that most electrical component temperature control applications are covered.
Up to 8 positional tungsten, gold tipped probes (other types can be used) can be hooked up to electrical connectors within the sample chamber and enable the user to make electrical measurements on the sample, while accurately controlling the temperature inside a gas tight environment. Gas ports on the sides of the stage enable the user to purge the sample environment with inert or humidified gas.
The stage consists of a large area temperature controlled element with a platinum resistor sensor embedded close to the surface for accurate temperature measurements. The sample is simply placed on the heating element and the probes moved manually to make contact at the appropriate points.
Lemo connectors are supplied as standard, but BNC can be used instead.

The standard window in the lid is 18mm diameter but a larger window to accommodate your sample size is possible.
By utilising the LNP94/2 cooling option it is possible to reach temperatures as low as -196C with no condensation of moisture obscuring the sample image or fogging the windows in the lid or base.
The temperature is programmed by the standalone TMS94 temperature programmer. Sophisticated temperature profiles of up to 32 ramps can be set up with ranges of heating rates from 0.1C/min to 30C/min.
The TMS94 can be used as a standalone programmer or connected via RS232 to PC enabling use of further features within the Linksys 32 software.
TMS94 firmware can be updated via email using the RS232 connection.
