Examina-IR System
Features and Benefits
The FTIR600 stage has been adapted from our market leading high precision geology stage to allow infra red analysis of samples from -196 up to 600°C covering all applications from pharmaceutical to polymers.
FT-IR is an increasingly popular method of sample analysis. With today's highly sophisticated instruments combining research quality optical features such as DIC and Phase contrast with IR micro analysis, the FT-IR scopes are some of the most powerful research tools available.
The research possibilities are dramatically increased, by adding a precision heating and freezing stage.
The FTIR600 stage can be mounted horizontally as in IR microscopy setups and vertically for cabinet type IR spectroscopy. The silver block has a tapered hole to allow maximum transmittance of IR without interference. The angle admittance from the condenser is 85° and that of the objective is 116° .
Recycled nitrogen gas is used to purge the stage of moisture and prevent condensation hence enable the capture of clear highly resolved images.
