Founder
Arnold founded Linkam in 1982 and continues to be involved with the innovation and design of our temperature control instruments. Arnold started out by developing devices for testing explosives with the thermal analysis manufacturer Stanton Redcroft before starting his own business. He began by building temperature control stages for geological applications from his garage and soon established a worldwide market for the stages by selling them to researchers in the UK and Asia. He has overseen the growth of Linkam into world-renowned experts in temperature control chambers. He now divides his time between Linkam’s R&D facilities in the UK and Netherlands where he spends his time working on next generation prototypes. In his spare time Arnold still loves to spend his time in the workshop, in particular engineering his own timepieces.
