Warm Stages

Linkam’s warm stages are designed to hold a specified temperature to +/- 0.1°C from ambient to 60°C. They provide an accurate temperature control platform for inverted or upright microscope applications where it is crucial to maintain a 0.1°C stable temperature in the sample whether mounted in a petri dish or on a microscope slide.

Linkam manufactures two types of warm stage; WS37 transparent ITO coated stages for applications using standard microscope lenses, and bifilar coated metal stages with an aperture to enable high NA oil immersion lenses to be used (requires one of our unique lens heaters).

By using a specifically designed thermal liquid crystal slide which is accurate to 0.1°C, temperature can be quickly verified by colour change.

Our warm stages are designed to be used with a specific microscope brand and model, please
contact us to discuss your requirements.
